Welcome to the Energy Audit Report for
SAU 80 - Shaker Regional School District
of New Hampshire
In December 2009, an Energy Audit was conducted on the SAU 80 schools and administrative building. McCormick Facilities Management of Maine completed the study and have assembled this site to display the findings of the study.

We invite you to browse the site and review the findings of the energy audit. Many Energy Conservation Measures (ECMs) were recommended for the school district to help save money and energy consumption. It is the hope of all those involved that SAU 80 will become a leader in green practices and set an example for other schools and businesses to follow with alternative energy use.
Summary of Findings:
> Belmont Middle School was the highest consumer of #2 fuel in FY09 at 29,945 gallons.

> Belmont High School was the highest consumer of electricity in FY09 at 454,600 kWh.

> 3 out of 5 of the district buildings are above the Energy Star Target Rating.

> A total of 119 ECMs were recommended for the district in hopes of cutting back on energy spending.

> In FY09, the district spent approximately $1.74 per square foot in energy (fuel and electricity) to operate.
