The team at McCormick Facilities Management has recently visited the schools that make up the Wilton-Lyndeborough school district in New Hampshire to conduct a Facility Condition Assessment.
The schools are in much need of facility management and capital planning. This is the first step in gaining control over their facilities and making the buildings a better, safer environment for all and to set a plan in action that will take the buildings long into the future for the community.
Our team visited each building, walked every inch from the roof to the basement assessing each system that makes up the facility. All systems were recorded and noted for their life cycle. Deficiences were also noted and all was given a cost to repair, replace, and so on.
Reports are then generated for presentation to the school board and committees to begin planning for capital improvements. We are hopeful to work with this New Hampshire community for the long run as they better their schools and capital expenses.
